Jonas Brothers sign touring deal with Live Nation

Pop-rock tween sensations the Jonas Brothers have inked a two-year deal with touring giant Live Nation, providing for a major outing that’s expected to visit more than 140 theaters and arenas worldwide. The Look Me In The Eyes Tour, named after Jonas Brothers’ new single, is scheduled to kick off on January 31st in Tucson, AZ. The first round of dates, which hang around the West Coast and South through mid-February, go on sale on January 12th.

The New Jersey-bred trio will finish its run on the wildly successful Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana Best of Both Worlds Tour next week. Jonas Brothers have been making young girls swoon on that arena trek since the fall.

“This band creates pandemonium wherever they go,” Live Nation’s Bruce Kapp said in a statement. “They sell out dates instantly and always leave their loyal fans wanting more. We couldn’t be more thrilled to be partners with them on their journey to superstardom.”

Indeed, Jonas Brothers are well on their way to the big time with a platinum album on their hands, plenty of media exposure and their own Disney Channel sitcom in the works.

Their self-titled sophomore set, largely written by the brothers themselves, debuted at #5 on The Billboard 200 in August and has spawned hit singles S.O.S., Hold On, and Year 3000. Those songs are streaming at Jonas Brothers’ MySpace Page.

Meanwhile, the group (20-year-old Kevin, 18-year-old Joe, and 15-year-old Nick) has started work on their next album, and are shooting for a July release.
